About Marked Church
Marked Church was established in April of 2018 in NJ. Our name is based on Ephesians 1:13 in the NIV.
From the beginning, Marked Church was founded with a clear identity and purpose—to be a place where people encounter Jesus and understand who they are in Him. Our name reflects the spiritual truth that believers are sealed, set apart, and empowered by the Holy Spirit.
“And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were MARKED in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit.”
This Scripture is not only the foundation of our name, but the foundation of who we are as a church. We believe every believer is marked by God, filled with His Spirit, and called to live out their faith with confidence and purpose.
Our Mission
Our mission and desire is to bring people into relationship with God by experiencing His presence and power.
At Marked Church, we believe Christianity is more than information—it is a living relationship with God. We desire to see people encounter Him personally through worship, prayer, and the preaching of the Word. Everything we do flows from this mission: to help people know God, experience His power, and walk in the fullness of what He has provided.

Marked Church is built on the preaching and teaching of the Word of God. We believe the Word is living, powerful, and able to transform lives. Our heart is to equip both new and established believers to stand on and speak the Word of God with faith and boldness.
As people grow in their understanding of who God is and who they are in Christ, they begin to walk in victory, purpose, and spiritual maturity.

We believe the local church plays a vital role in strengthening individuals and families. Our desire is to see families grow together in faith, build godly foundations, and live out their calling in everyday life. Marked Church is a place where people of all ages can belong, grow, and serve together.

We believe the Gospel should be demonstrated, not just discussed. The presence of God, the power of the Holy Spirit, and a spirit of faith are central to who we are and how we minister.
